What Your Storefront Messaging Is Probably Missing

I always get asked this question:   “I’m doing all the right marketing things but I’m still not bringing in enough business, why is that?”

Well, honestly there are many reasons why that could be.  

But if I had to pick a few big ones to tackle first –  one would be MESSAGING. 

I usually get a “deer in the headlights” reaction to this answer.

As service-based professionals, when deciding on what to use as your storefront messaging, think about the topics that you know are URGENT for your audience.  Think in terms of information that gets them results in a meaningful way.

When you address their pain points or things that keep them up at night (with respect to what you do as a professional), you will always get their attention.

Don’t forget to spend time educating them about the different solutions available to help them resolve their challenges. Client case success stories are an excellent way to demonstrate this so that they can easily relate to it.

TIP:  If you really want to streamline things,  create one piece of content (e.g. take a blog post that you have recently written) and then reuse or repurpose it by dissecting it into smaller soundbites (e.g. create a quote card, short video clips, etc.).
